Gamka Safaris was started out of a passion for the African Hunting experience and to promote the conservation of wild fauna and flora for the future benefit of our children and sport.
As the owners of Gamka Safaris Ken and Albert promise you their personal involvement in every aspect of your safari to guarantee you the client a Private, Personalised and Professional Service. It is their “hands on” approach to the business that truly makes the difference in this very competitive industry of today.

Gamka Safaris strives to provide a service that is mutually beneficial to our clients, ourselves, our animals and our local community. We aim to be professional and respectful in everything we do, while giving our clients an authentic and adventurous African experience. We strongly believe in ethical hunting and the principles of Fair Chase, focusing on the protection and conservation our wildlife population. The Team
Ken Whiley
Owner, Outfitter and Professional Hunter
Ken was born and raised in the Karoo region of South Africa. I started Gamka Safaris for the adventure of the hunt, but it quickly turned into a passion and a believe that there is no better way to preserve our wildlife. There is no better way than Hunting to show of our beautiful part of this world.
Albert Swart
Owner, Outfitter and Professional Hunter
Albert grew up on a farm in the Western Cape. After getting his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture he started hunting guiding and conserving wildlife as a career. His position allowed him to work with people from all over the world. In his time as GM Outfitter and PH on various Game Reserves the opportunity arose to Join the Gamka Safari Team. Albert is actively involved in various farming diversities himself, but it is his passion for wildlife, hunting and conservation that encouraged him to join the Gamka team giving him the chance to share his passion with others.
A-Fox Hunting
A-Fox Hunting with Ron Hugo, Samantha LaCourt and Marty LaCourt are our Representatives in the USA. Both Ron Marty and Samantha are all avid hunters and between the three of them have vast experience hunting Southern Africa. They are like our family in the USA. Please contact them at any time

Josef
Jo has been with Gamka Safaris from as early as 2008 as their resident tracker and skinner, but also as a qualified professional hunter. He has many years of experience and always puts professionalism first.
Greton
Greton is our newest member and also the youngest. He has been Albert’s tracker, skinner and driver for 6 years and they make up for a very dynamic and professional team out in the field.
