In the eastern part of the country, close to the Indian Ocean and the enormous Zambezi river delta lies the vast marshlands of the delta. A population of over 13,000 buffalo roam freely with large herds of sable, nyala and waterbuck, together with plenty of smaller species, such as the resident hippos and crocodiles. The area covers around 500,000 acres and by its very nature the hunting is both challenging and eventful. Here you meet untamed Africa face to face - a meeting you're not soon to forget!

Crating and shipping of trophies to Maputo

A Basic fee of $440 per hunter will be levied to cover the local Veterinary and Transport permit and Inspection.

In addition to this the fees below will be levied. These fees will be covering crating and transport of the trophies to Maputo. All shipping of Trophies goes through Life Form Taxidermy.

All Shipping and Export/Import cost ex Maputo will be for the Clients expense.

Seasons

The Mozambique hunting season is from 1 April through to 30 November.

Health Precautions

Mozambique is a Malaria area and clients must take precautions. It is suggested that you take ‘Malarone’ tablets – with your doctor’s approval.

Customs & Immigration

We will have a private agent meet you at the airport with all your relevant paperwork.
A Fee of $50 is payable directly to the agent Please bring your passport and a letter of invitation that we will send to you beforehand.

Needed for Mozambique

Visas– are issued on arrival in Beira. to be applied for 60 days before your safari, from the Mozambique Embassy in your country.
You need to send us
A scanned colour copy of your passport.
A scanned colour photograph of yourself.
Proof of Ownership of your rifle (US Customs Form 4457)
the above information must reach us at least 12 weeks before your hunt.

Terms and conditions

Transport/export of trophies:

The cost of your safaris excludes the packing, dipping and export of your trophies from Mozambique. Safari Air Cargo will handle this on your behalf.

Deposits & Payments:

50% deposit of Daily Rates or 50% of cost of Package is required to secure your safari.
The balance of Daily Rates, package and licence fees is payable, 30 days before your safari.
Trophy and Transport fees are to be paid on the last day in camp.
Daily rates are charged per night spend in camp
All payments are to be made in cash, certified bank draft or personal checks
Licence fees are not refundable should the trophy not be taken
As packages are sold on a discounted rate, in the unlikely event of the package trophies not being taken, no portion of the package is refundable.
